Hi there everyone!,
I have been trying to find new ways to redecorate and jazz up my blogging space. I just wanted something artistic and inspirational as well. A while ago I came across a really cool idea whilst searching for new blogs to read.
I love words and inspirational quotes are definitely my kind of thing.
This is honestly the most simplest way of incorporating inspirational reminders in your space and is certainly an inexpensive DIY project.
I spent a total of £2.00!
I went into Poundland of all places and got these two dark grey, vintage looking frames. My room is all black and white so I needed something to break up the theme I have going on and also make it feel less clinical.
The frames were £1.00 each and came in a variety of sizes. I opted for the 8x10in sizes as I wanted a slightly larger frame. You could most certainly change this according to whichever size suits your space and artistic vision.
The hardest task about this was actually choosing the quotes I wanted to go for. There were way too many to choose from, which was an extremely difficult feat. I figure I can always change these depending on my mood as they are easy swap over.
So armed with my handy quotes, the frames and a pair of scissors, here is how I achieve this;
The only thing you will notice from mine and Jasmine’s DIY frames is that she used these on the wall where as I used photo frames as I plan on putting these on my dresser and by my desk as constant reminders. A good way of showing you just how versatile this is and how you can adapt this to suit you too!
So what did you think, how did I do?Will you be attempting this yourself?
If you do please let me know as I would love to see how it all turned out.
